The brief

  • Tamworth Borough Council has undertaken an annual residents’ survey since 2022 to track satisfaction with the Council and its services and ask about budget priorities.
  • Enventure Research was commissioned to independently deliver and report on the 2024 survey.

The approach

  • The questionnaire retained questions from previous years and included LGA national polling questions.
  • Telephone interviewing was supplemented by face-to-face interviews to reach younger residents.
  • Quotas covered age, gender, ethnic group, disability, and ward.

The outcome

  • A representative sample of 1,100 residents was achieved.
  • Enventure Research compared the findings with previous surveys and LGA data and produced a visual research report.
  • The findings were intended to inform future service planning and the Council’s five-year Corporate Plan.
