The project

Grounding strategy development in the member voice

A large-scale member survey designed to ensure future strategic decisions were based on robust, current evidence.

01

The brief

RCP was developing a new organisational strategy and wanted member insight at the heart of the process. The survey explored perceptions of membership and the College, value for money, the College’s core purpose, and priorities for the future.

02

The approach

We co-designed a questionnaire with RCP and securely hosted the survey online. It could be completed in under 10 minutes and was promoted to all members and fellows by email, reminders, the RCP website, newsletters, networks, and social media. Members logged in using their RCP-registered email address to protect access.

03

The outcome

The survey generated 2,558 responses, representing a 7% response rate. Enventure Research delivered a comprehensive, visual report of the findings.

  • Robust member evidence to feed directly into strategy development.
  • Clear insight into membership value, perceptions, and future priorities.
  • A stronger evidence base for ensuring future plans reflect members’ needs.
