The project
Turning attendee feedback into practical improvements
An independent evaluation designed to understand the impact of Congress and identify what could make future events even stronger.
01
The brief
RCN wanted to understand how attendees experienced its annual flagship Congress, why they attended, how satisfied they were with different aspects of the event, and where improvements could be made. After initially commissioning Enventure Research for independent analysis and reporting, RCN recommissioned us to deliver subsequent evaluations.
02
The approach
We worked with RCN to update the evaluation questionnaire, which was emailed to registered attendees shortly after Congress. A total of 697 responses were received, and Enventure Research undertook independent analysis, including detailed coding and thematic analysis of open-ended comments.
03
The outcome
The final report gave RCN a clear view of attendee motivations, satisfaction, experiences, and equality monitoring data, supported by recommendations for future events.
- Independent evidence on what attendees valued and where experience could be improved.
- Detailed thematic analysis of verbatim feedback, not just headline survey measures.
- Practical recommendations to help future Congresses remain high quality, enjoyable and beneficial.
