The project

Refreshing the evidence base after a gap in member research

A whole-membership survey designed to rebuild a clear understanding of what members value and expect from the Society.

01

The brief

The Intensive Care Society had not collected members’ views for some time and wanted a comprehensive member survey to refresh its understanding of attitudes, perceptions, and experiences.

02

The approach

We co-designed an online questionnaire with ICS and administered it using personalised email invitations and follow-up reminders. The survey was also promoted through social media, member networks, and the ICS website to broaden participation.

03

The outcome

The survey received 376 responses, representing a 13% response rate. Enventure Research produced an independent report on the findings.

  • Current insight into member attitudes, perceptions, and experiences.
  • Evidence on membership benefits, resources, communications, and events.
  • A new benchmark against which future member opinion can be tracked.
