The brief

- Enventure Research first delivered the poll in 2023 and was recommissioned for further waves in 2024 and 2025
The approach
- The questionnaire retained comparable questions from earlier waves and covered perceptions of the Council, the local area and community, digital inclusion, and the cost of living
- Telephone interviewing was delivered using CATI, with quotas for age, gender, ethnic group, and area, and additional face-to-face interviews used to balance the sample
- The survey was piloted before launch
The outcome
- A total of 1,100 interviews were completed in the 2025 wave
- Enventure Research analysed the data and produced a report including comparisons with previous survey waves and national Local Government Association polling data
- The findings gave the Council up-to-date evidence on residents’ views and progress against its Missions
