The brief

  • The GCC needed up-to-date evidence on the chiropractic profession to support its work regulating professionals and services.

The approach

  • The questionnaire was co-designed by the GCC and Enventure Research and administered online to all registrants, supported by reminders and wider promotion.
  • 968 responses were received, representing a 29% response rate.
  • Follow-up telephone and online interviews explored respondents' views in greater depth and were stratified by background, age, and location.

The outcome

  • Enventure Research delivered comprehensive analysis and reporting across the survey and qualitative work.
  • The findings covered workplace settings, qualifications, clinical practice, future plans, pandemic impacts, and confidence in the profession's future.
  • The evidence supports ongoing improvements to regulation and understanding of the chiropractic workforce.
