Understanding workplace experience and diversity for the CLC

The brief
- The CLC is the specialist approved regulator for property and probate lawyers and regulated businesses in England and Wales.
- It wanted to expand its established Diversity Survey into a broader Workplace and Diversity Survey and commissioned Enventure Research to deliver the research independently.
The approach
- Three questionnaires were developed for CLC lawyers and managers, CLC practices, and non-CLC licensed employees working in regulated practices.
- Each survey took around 10 minutes and was promoted through personalised email invitations, reminders, and wider CLC communications.
- Practices were also asked to distribute the employee survey internally so the research reached people beyond the directly regulated population.
The outcome
- Findings from all three surveys were combined into one comprehensive research report.
- The reporting gave the CLC structured and actionable insight into experiences across different roles and parts of the regulated community.
- Enventure Research also produced infographics and presented the findings through a stakeholder webinar.
