The project

Moving from current behaviour to testing future digital concepts

A staged programme in which the first phase informed the concepts explored in the second.

01

The brief

Clarion wanted to understand how and why residents used the internet, how they interacted with Clarion when they needed to, and how they would prefer to engage through online channels in future. Enventure Research was appointed to deliver a two-phase resident research programme.

02

The approach

Phase one combined an online survey, which received 600 responses, with 15 follow-up depth interviews to understand current digital behaviour and help shape concepts for further testing. Phase two then used three online focus groups involving 14 residents to explore views on potential future approaches to online communication.

03

The outcome

Enventure Research provided detailed reporting across both phases. The findings gave Clarion evidence on residents’ attitudes towards digital interaction and were designed to inform future online methods of communication.

  • 600 survey responses on current digital behaviour
  • 15 follow-up depth interviews to add context and inform concept development
  • Three online focus groups testing future communication concepts
  • A staged design linking discovery research directly to service development
