The project
Extending customer insight beyond satisfaction measures
A large-scale annual survey designed to support Abri’s own decisions while contributing comparable evidence to the wider social housing sector.
01
The brief
The SHARE project, a joint venture between Clarion Housing and LiveWest, explores wider issues shaping residents’ lives, including neighbourhood belonging, loneliness, finances, internet use, disability, and employment. Abri wanted to develop its existing cost-of-living survey so it could contribute additional evidence to SHARE, and commissioned Enventure Research to deliver its inaugural customer survey.
02
The approach
Using the SHARE question bank as a starting point, Enventure Research and Abri developed and piloted the questionnaire. The survey was administered by telephone to a representative sample of 2,000 customers, with quotas on gender, age, ethnicity, and region based on Abri’s customer records.
03
The outcome
Following fieldwork and quality assurance, Abri received a topline summary, coded open-ended responses, raw data, and a sample of interview recordings shared with respondent permission. The survey is intended to repeat annually, creating trend evidence for Abri while adding to the wider housing-sector evidence base.
- 2,000 representative telephone interviews
- Questionnaire aligned with the established SHARE evidence base
- Open-ended feedback thematically coded for further analysis
- A repeatable annual programme designed to monitor change over time
