Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Research Analyst to join our growing Insights team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data, research, and strategic decision-making across a range of sectors including technology, finance, and government.

As a Data Research Analyst, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-impact research projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to collect, analyse and interpret data that drives actionable insights.


Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Source, clean and validate datasets from a variety of platforms and public sources
  • Use statistical tools and techniques to uncover patterns, trends and insights
  • Translate complex findings into clear, compelling visualisations and reports
  • Collaborate with clients to understand objectives and develop tailored research solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data protection standards and research ethics

About you

  • Degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, economics, or social research
  • Proven experience in a data-led research role (agency or in-house)
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, and one or more of: Python, R, SPSS or Stata
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, capable of presenting findings to a variety of audiences
  • Curious, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
