Thurrock Council has a vision to be the dynamic heart of the Thames Gateway, a place of ambition, enterprise and opportunity, where communities and business flourish. To help achieve this, it has in place a Sustainable Community Strategy developed by Shaping Thurrock, the Local Strategic Partnership. It lays out the vision for Thurrock for the next ten years.
To ensure the Strategy still reflects local views, it has commissioned Enventure Research to undertaken a consultation with residents, local businesses and the third sector.
Mark Robinson of Enventure commented “It’s fantastic that Thurrock Council had entrusted us to consult with residents on its behalf to find out if the current Sustainable Community Strategy meets the needs and aspirations of its residents. We are really looking forward to working on this project”.
The recent win comes after two other similar consultations delivered for Anglesey County Council and Braintree District Council.
The research will use quantitative and qualitative research and will be delivered during May and June.
