Enventure Research’s survey of visitors to each of the nine Household Waste and Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in North London has now been completed.
Working on behalf of the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) and its constituent authorities (the London Boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest), Enventure Research’s experienced survey staff recorded the postcodes of all visitors delivering waste to each HWRC on specified dates. Surveying took place on both weekdays and weekends, with staff accurately recording the date and time of each visit on handheld computer aided personal interviewing (CAPI) devices and providing daily updates on survey progress.
During the survey, over 19,000 postcodes were collected across the nine sites. Upon fieldwork completion, Enventure Research delivered the findings to NLWA, showing postcode data collected from each HWRC with a breakdown on numbers and percentages of users from each Borough.
