Calderdale Council has a development plan for Calderdale which includes the creation of approximately 12,500 new homes, with a significantly large proportion to be built in Brighouse. This will lead to an increase in demand on local services including schools. Enventure Research has been commissioned by Trinity Multi Academy Trust, which runs several schools in Calderdale, to undertake research with parents in the Brighouse and surrounding area to explore opinions on the future demand for schools and the current application that it has to establish Trinity Academy Brighouse, a free school to meet the increase demand for school places.
