Enventure Research was appointed to deliver the annual staff survey for the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in 2021 to track employee engagement.
The survey was administered online and sent via personalised email invitations and targeted reminders to all IOSH employees. The questionnaire used for the survey was developed by IOSH and Enventure Research to include questions used in previous years for comparison. Additional questions were included to gather feedback on a six-month trial of proposed new worker types which had been introduced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through proactive engagement with staff, the response rate increased to 85% (compared with 81% last year). Following comprehensive analysis, a PowerPoint report was produced to present the findings, which showed that IOSH employees are satisfied with their trial working arrangements and that job satisfaction remains high.
