The British Pharmacological Society (BPS) recently commissioned Enventure Research to undertake a survey of pharmacologists and those working in the pharmacology sector as part of a review of the journals, events, and training it offers.
A questionnaire was designed from scratch by Enventure Research and the BPS to capture insight into experiences of accessing BPS journals and attending BPS events and training, and thoughts on how the BPS’s current offering could be improved.
The survey was hosted online and promoted to all current BPS members, a sample of lapsed members, and the wider pharmacology sector via various communication channels. Over 500 responses were received, providing a robust data set for analysis.
Enventure Research conducted detailed analysis of the survey data and provided a report, drawing out the key findings and useful insights to enable the BPS to inform future decision making around how to enhance and expand its content offering, in line with the needs of its audience.
