Increasing Awareness of the ‘Metal Matters’ Recycling Campaign

Enventure Research has been re-appointed by Viridor Laing Greater Manchester (VLGM) to deliver a doorstepping campaign aimed at promoting the ‘Metal Matters’ recycling communication campaign, which is soon to be rolled out across the four districts of Trafford, Stockport, Manchester and Rochdale.
The campaign aims to increase metal capture rates in the comingled bin at the kerbside.Enventure Research’s trained Recycling Promoters will engage with residents living in these four districts in order to increase awareness of all metal items that can be recycled in the comingled bin, to promote all other items that can be recycled in the comingled bin, and to test recall of the first transform leaflet distributed as part of the campaign.  VLGM has identified 16,000 households across the four districts, all of which will be targeted during this campaign, with the aim of speaking to at least 4,000 residents (a 25% contact rate).
