Having frequently worked with IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) on a variety of projects, Enventure Research was recently recommissioned to deliver a programme of research exploring the views and experiences of OSH professionals in relation to the value of professional membership.
An online survey was developed and open for completion by all OSH professionals, including current and lapsed IOSH members, as well as non-members. A series of focus groups and depth interviews was held to provide additional insight into the survey findings, including interviews with business leaders and employers of OSH professionals.
The report and subsequent presentation of the results by Enventure Research provided IOSH with clear insight into OSH professionals’ perceptions of professional membership, creating evidence to inform future member attraction and retention campaigns.
