We are delighted to announce that Cornwall Council has appointed Enventure Research to undertake a consultation with Cornwall residents regarding its new proposed Devolution Deal, which, if accepted, would see government powers and funded devolved to the local authority to help it deliver the priorities set out in the Cornwall Plan 2050.
The research will involve telephone and face to face interviewing with a representative selection of Cornwall residents, with quotas set on age, gender and area, to gather residents’ views on devolution and the proposed Deal. An open online survey will run in conjunction with the interviewing schedule to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to provide their views.
Detailed analysis and reporting will be undertaken by Enventure Research following the fieldwork period, which will provide the Council with valuable insight into residents’ views on the proposed Deal and inform future decision making.
