Repeat membership research gave the Association of Anaesthetists up-to-date evidence on member attitudes, experiences, and support needs while allowing change to be tracked over time.
AudienceAssociation of Anaesthetists members.
ApproachSecure online member survey using personalised invitations, reminders, and wider promotion across Association channels.
Value to Association of AnaesthetistsCurrent member insight and trend data to help ensure support continues to reflect members’ needs.
The brief
- The Association regularly surveys its members and reappointed Enventure Research following earlier membership research and other projects
- The latest programme needed to refresh insight into member attitudes and experiences while retaining selected questions so changes could be tracked over time
The approach
- We co-designed the questionnaire with the Association, securely hosted the survey online and sent personalised invitations to members with up to four reminders
- An open survey link was also promoted through the website, newsletters, Annual Congress, and social media, with membership verification built into the process
The outcome
- The survey generated 1,661 responses, representing a 16% response rate
- Enventure Research analysed the findings and produced a detailed report
- Up-to-date evidence on member attitudes and experiences
- Benchmarking against previous survey waves
- Insight to help the Association continue providing relevant support for its members
