Enventure Research is pleased to have been reappointed by Wakefield Council to deliver an engagement survey to understand stakeholder views regarding the Wakefield markets service, following similar research undertaken in 2021.
Wakefield Council operates six markets across the district, Castleford, Normanton, Ossett, Pontefract, South Elmsall and Wakefield city. The first survey, undertaken in 2021 assisted in the development of an action plan aimed at improving the service. The findings from the current research will enable benchmarking of progress from the view of those who work, shop or have a key interest in markets.
Enventure Research will deliver a consultation with members of the public, market traders, members of staff and other relevant stakeholders to explore what works well with the markets and what could be further improved.
A representative selection of Wakefield residents will be invited to participate in telephone or face to face interviews to gather views on the markets in the Wakefield district. Paper copies of the questionnaire and an open online version will also provide the opportunity for all other interested parties to contribute their views.
