Enventure Research was commissioned by Elmbridge Borough Council to conduct a survey among its residents, incorporating a blend of questions from the Local Government Association’s ‘Are you being served?’ national tracker and bespoke questions from the council. The comprehensive survey, representative of the community, engaged 500 residents through a mix of face-to-face and telephone interviews.
Results revealed notably higher satisfaction levels compared with the national average, particularly in waste collection and street cleaning services. Impressively, 83% of respondents expressed satisfaction with the local area as a place to live, exceeding the national average of 74%. Additionally, the survey explored residents’ perceptions of Elmbridge’s Vision 2030, which encompasses sustainability, thriving towns and villages, and vibrant communities.
