The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way GP practices work, using different ways to support patients to keep them safe at home. This includes using digital methods such as video and phone calls instead of face to face appointments, offering a telephone triage service and the use of online consultation in order to seek medical advice.
Enventure Research was commissioned by NHS Wakefield CCG to undertake analysis and reporting of the consultation with those using GP their practice during the pandemic, exploring what worked well and what improvements could be made in the future.
