NHS Midlands & East’s Campaign is launched

The campaign to Eliminate avoidable Grade 2, 3 and 4 pressure ulcers by December 2012 has been launched to frontline staff with a new website, communications from senior staff and an animation that has been posted on YouTube.  The campaign, which will see various communication channels being used, has been developed following comprehensive social marketing scoping research, which was undertake by Enventure Research.  Findings from the research showed that staff believed hard hitting images and messages should be used and they wanted information to be delivered in a range of formats, not just traditional posters and leaflets.
