Enventure Research is looking forward to working again with Manchester City Council to deliver a survey of visitors to the 2017 Manchester Day parade.
Manchester Day is an annual cultural event which brings together a diverse range of local organisations to celebrate the city’s creativity and collective pride, drawing on average 60,000 visitors to the city. More information about this year’s event can be found here.
The visitor survey measures the impact of the parade and visitors’ perceptions of the event via face-to-face surveying, conducted by a team of experienced market research interviewers. The interviewing team wear branded Manchester Day t-shirts and hand out parade information leaflets to respondents, who are approached using random sampling. Enventure Research has conducted the survey each year since 2014. The response to the survey has been very positive to date, with an average of 256 visitors interviewed each year.
Following this year’s parade, which will take place on Sunday 18th June, Enventure Research will undertake analysis of the data in order to provide Manchester City Council with a research report which details the 2017 findings and demonstrates comparisons with previous years’ surveys.
